It turns down in front of the rear axle and I cut it down so you can't see it after I stuck the 9" under it. Even with the muffler it still drones like hell.

Is there enough room to run it over the rear axle an have it dump just before the bumper? Might help with the drone...?

Yeah I can run regular exhaust but this is what I had laying around when I put it together. Im still up in the air on final exhaust for it.

How much of a mess does it make to the underside of the truck with it dumping out in front of the axle? I just redid the rear suspension in my truck and I can no longer run the exhaust over the axle as there are new parts taking up that space.

Thanks for the info on the air dam too. Don't see too many dodges with them (was going to try one from an older chevy, but I guess all the older stuff has pretty similar shaped front ends)

My truck is still pretty much stock so only time I get smoke is on a hard launch. I'm sure once turned up it will be a mess.

I remember when I was in the different exhaust every week stage, I had my exhaust ending under the bed because it should have had a tip on it. The bed side had soot on it before I got out of the driveway.

That is clean under there! Even stock trucks will usually smoke things up with a short exhaust.

Unless you did a bunch of bending on it, I will check 92-96 F-series off of that list  I got it on there, but it isn't the prettiest thing up close.

I would guess the older body styles probably don't have as much curve to them, but I liked this style (1st gen Lightning) so I made it work.

80-86 Ford F series have a really close bumper to ours.

So I went to the strip tonight. I was only able to make one pass though after breaking my throttle cable twice on the starting line. I spun 1st, 2nd, and short shifted to 3rd peddling to get traction. Truck next to me ran fastest of night at 11.5x. There was a 2wd PSD shortbed with drag radials and caltracs that couldn't get traction either.

Andy, that black truck looks like the one belongs to the douchebag that screwed me out of that HT4B. He lives in Kentucky someplace.
