1976 K30 Crew Cab Short Box Cummins "The Family Hauler"

This is a truck I've had for ever and I tried selling but couldn't. Rather than give it away I sold the lift, wheels and tires, and long bed from it. Now it's a swb with a unique engine build. I hope you guys don't mind the not pure VE situation here.

The truck is a work in progress which is out side waiting it's turn again. It has a 47RH with NP205, D60 front, D70 rear, and a 24v cummins. It is my wife's truck now. That means I better get it done soon before our new soon is born. He's due April 14th, but will be here sooner than that. I think he'll beat me on this project. :p

I always thought a VE 24v would be awesome too, cool project!

I love the injector lines on that thing, they're even more of a snake pit than most normal ones.

I've got to do a 24v p-pump conversion, and a VE 12v in a 88 suburban, then I can get back on this. I will post up vids when I fire it up. I might need to put the timing light on it to see if it's where I think it's at. I still need to install the isolators and mounting brackets before I fire it up.

Awesome project. I want a 2wd 4dr cummins dually to fit underneath your 4 door like that mini truck does. Way badass!
