Dude, it was only 1400, why did you let out of it? I used to hit 1600 on a regular basis.

It looked like it was 1500 to me. I used to hit 1900+ on a regular basis with my 6.7 (I have pictures of the marshmallowed turbine wheel to prove it too), but then I got a real turbo, and it's never gotten anywhere near that hot again.

Yeah.....silly me,on my second engine and all!

I'm going to Dick around with my timing some and see what that does for me. It's definitely not to much fuel,or air leaks. I just pressured the system up and sprayed purple power everywhere. No bubbles to be seen but then again nothing is saying that the 328k turbo is the best either. I'll Dick with the timing tomorrow.

On a different subject how does your trans shift using the pressure solenoids? Which ones are you using?

Andy I wound up using some adjustable units from eBay. The PATC units will work for a gasser......not so much for a diesel unit. Pre set pressure sensors suck for what you want to do.

I'm only using one for the o/d,I deleted the lockup sensor because I found it more beneficial to use a toggle.....lock it in when I want,in the gear I want.
If you can't find one I can post a pic of the box and can send one to you.

Timing was my issue on the Chevy. I installed the spacer and now 1300* is as high as it gets. I'll be bumping the base timing a fuzz as well.
Lots more power.....smoother too.

I let off at 100mph,1100*. Probably why that p pump motor died earlier. Some of it anyhow

Previous motor melted? How many turns on the screw you got for it to run that well?

I bottomed the fuel screw and backed it off two turns.

The other motor started rattling and knocking at high rpm.....3K+. The trust bearings are known to be bad in it from testing the crank end play, never have opened it up to check out what else is bad.

Almost lost this truck today......pucker factor got really high! Left church, headed home......freakin water pocket I didn't see sucked the ass of the truck right off the road, pulling it off in the ditch with me spinning the steering wheel like a mad man to straighten it back out. Wasn't going all that fast so it wasn't really difficult to correct......it was mostly the unexpected, sudden movement

It's been running really strong with the timing spacer. As soon as I get the dodge ship shape again,we'll see what a little more timing will do,and how much of a monster the tips make of it.

Is injector depth/washer thickness a tuning option on a 24v? What size are the factory washers?
