On another note,I think I found out one reason this thing was such a turd......exhaust flange gaskets were leaking around the bottom of three.

For the motor Jon? Sounds like good color schemes for the outside but I want this thing plain with a little chrome here and there for that regular old Chevy pickup look......least till I fire it off :lol:

I missed that some where. I couldn't figure out for the life of me why DD green was an option...

Started cleaning today,used the steam cleaner and washed up the block and pan. Started stripping paint and polishing up the valve covers and intake plate as well

I hope to get my timing cover and housing back tomorrow....fixed right

Gonna try and polish it too :lol:
