The 205 is the heavy beast.... especially when wrestling it in with no jack on a lifted truck, by yourself

You think I have money? I have a wife and kid.

But really, I am being very picky on what I buy, I am working 45+ hours at my full time job, part time at inlaws farm, finding deals and parting out a couple things here and there. Doing a lot by myself and the help of 2 friends, of which one is an awesome welder and the other can shoot paint. 8)

I'm in the same boat as you my friend. I totally understand where your coming from lol. I work for my dad full time on his farm, and my old boss when I can on his farm. After all this, I have no ambition to lift a toe. Do I hear a small fiddle playing in the background? Just for me?

Correct parts selection the first time is always a bonus. It takes a lot of patients in which I don't have.

Oh I'm sure it will still be somewhat streetable. Cali Dot is super strict on what they see. And I've seen some ratty stuff. Im really excited about your build, let the cutoff wheel and plasma have at it!!

So, are you going to P-Pump it?
Or is the title just there to grab attention? :P

Before weight is 6100-6200 with a full tank. Pulled about 5-6 times last year and I always weighed in between those marks.

Also, dropping it. Taking the lift blocks out of the back and maybe a leaf or 2 out of the front.

Yeah my truck with the heavier rear bumper,1/4 tank, and traction bars is at 6170. I have the factory bumpers, and a set off af a 75'. The 75' bumpers are pretty light, and blend with the side view a little better. I'm probably going to remove one traction bar and run one in the middle like turboram.

Well...

Got the bed off, started cutting, and realized that this was going to take s long time...

So now we are trying to figure out what would look nice. Gutted bed, painted frame rails and aluminum covering between framed rails...

Ike, you can have those blocks a soon as i can get the other 2 u-bolts.

Death, i don't think it will happen now. A truck i was going to get at an agreed upon price now want more money for it and the Cummins another guy wanted. So for a trade i was going to get the 5r for the engine. He said he had another buyer with 2x the offer.
