Spent a bunch of time trying to work the engine further to the passenger side and promptly ran into the stock CM. I knew I would have to trim it and box but the more I thought about it, it seemed the best thing to do is just remove and reconfigure the CM.
Out comes the cut off wheels and plasma.
So I got some welding gloves on and I'm running a cup brush cleaning the grime off the inside of the frame when that slippery little sucker jumps right out of my hand...bounces off the back of my hand and onto my leg. I then leaped onto the floor gathering every cord and air line in sight. For a moment I though"sooner or later it will probably bind up and blow the circuit breaker. Nah, I better go get it. I never felt anything warm running down my leg and them Wrangler are pretty tuff, scuffed but not torn. Now that was fun.
I'm going to use a piece of 5x5 tubing to build the CM and have to figure out how to combine the engine mounts into it but I'm pretty sure I can get the engine over another inch. I'll post pics when I get that far.
Cummins space appears!!!
