Well I pulled the rest of the trans apart this morning. I fought 5th gear for over and your to get that dang thing off. Everything else looked great inside the transmission though. I'm pretty sure this had a 241DLD behind it. Does anyone know if the input shafts are interchangeable from the 241DLD and the 241DHD? I have that 241DHD behind the 47rh that will accept a speed sensor. I'd like to use it since my 10.25 rear doesn't have one.

Dropped the Cass off today at the welder. He said come back tomorrow and it will be done. A buddy of mine found me some dually front hubs and even went and got them for me.

Removed the broken bolts from the bell housing today. I also cleaned, sand blasted and painted it and the tail housing.

So I got off work finally and picked up my trans case. It looks good to me and I'll be ordering my parts later. I'll take it to work tomorrow to sandblast, clean and paint.

I'm running out of space. Everything to the left of the pic in the barn is Dodge Drive train. I've thought about trying to shorten that 99 frame and stick my 83 body on it. I don't know if it will be worth the work.

Blasted and painted trans case. My rebuild kit minus my shim set showed up today. I also have everything loose on the engine except motor mounts so its ready to come out.

Andy, what color is the interior?

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

Grey Pete. The driver side seat is trash but rest is pretty nice.

Ah poop. It's newer than '98.5 too. I need a tan door panel for my '97. During my mirror fiasco I broke 4 or 5 of the tabs the Christmas trees hook to because it was so cold when I was trying to pull the panel.

Another day, another mess. Pulled cab and steam cleaned everything today including the Ford frame.

So I picked up a bigger bearing splitter tonight. I have the main shaft 95% apart just couldn't find my 3 jaw puller. It looks like I'll have to buy a input shaft. The bearing spun on the shaft a good bit and it has blueing from getting hot.
