I was at the painters yesterday, and they think they're going to start painting it by the end of next week. They were just doing some final work on the cab and then she's ready for color! I scheduled the week off of work so when it's done I can put it together. Now it's time to get excited

Thanks guys, I'm getting excited about this truck again. I kind of lost interest since it has been sitting so long.

box is cut and buffed in back on the truck.

I've been putting some late-night hours in playing arts and crafts and designing a rear bumper for the truck. I have to have it down to the painter by mid next week so he can finish it and I'll have it back with the truck hopefully in 2 weeks. At least that's what he's telling me. We are leaving for vacation that we go figure LOL but I did take the following week off work to put it back together.

Well I would upload pictures for you guys to see the truck, but all my pictures are too big to be uploaded through the site. I'll try and get them somewhere so I can resize them

Very nice... Was the bird bath hood a bolt on as long as you have the cowl that goes with it? My son is building a 77w200 with a 85 body and he wants to put the 77 hood and cowl on it to keep some of the ols school. He is ready to paint and was wondering what you did to make that work,,,, if anything.

It bolted on yes. I had to to some moving of bracing for my pusher intake and make a pocket for my radiator cap

Ok thanks, he should not have those clearance issues as his is a leaning tower of power. :D
