how I spent the last two Weeks of my nights

Postby ellis93 » Fri Sep 28, 2012 6:50 am

I took on the job of putting in a kubota engine off of a carrier cooling unit in a caterpillar hoe, never again :cheese:
Image
Had to keep the pump in the same spot so there is not much room up front
Image
Made a shim out of 3/4 flat bar to keep the distance the same for the pump drive
Image
Then had the kubota flywheel machined to except the cat coupler
Image
A better pic of my spacer I put together
Image
got it all together and running right

All in all,its twice as strong as it was,and that's just because there's no P O S cat motor in it

Almost factory, except for the grey paint and the whole "superior" motor thing
