Man you got that right.....some pushes the boarders of obscenity too. I just want nice seats and AC. The rest is just more to go wrong.

The reason for the ford leaning is because they have not shown to be prone to failure as the dodge or GM counter parts. GM and Dodge have to many quirks,to many wires and modules for my liking.

If......big if......I was to go full tilt fotard (Caleb/Andy sorry  ) it would have to be 99 to 03 or 4 super duty with a blown engine,if it had a running 7.3 I'd pimp it till it died.

Caleb.....you'll get there my friend, I've driven schit trucks all my life then bought a 95 f150 lariat and have lusted after a nice interior ever since for long rides. I made to many with my sweaty @ss stuck to a vinyl seat and my left arm burn to a shade of red resembling the shell of a lobster. I ain't a pu$$y but I like being comfortable if I can help it

That's why I'm building the 83 Ellis. I'm trying to find a nice set of seats for her.

I was just talking to a buddy of mine last night about that, between the payment, insurance, fuel, maintenance, that's like $1k a month towards a truck...I'll pass. I can't wrap my head around paying that amount of money towards something that might sh!t out next week or something. Don't get me wrong, I like the ride and drive of any new(er) truck, but the prices newer trucks are bringing is absurd.

I feel the Super Dutys are too plastic-y. My dad has a '97 PSD CCSB and the only bad thing on it is the stinking TTB front end. It's 500-1000 lbs lighter that the same Super Duty and with the lariat interior, the front seats are power. The carpet's nice and the cloth seats are comfortable too. Even though it's nice on the inside with pointy-nipple A/C, it has a square nose, no plastic on the outside, it's the loudest stock truck ever made, and it has serviceable wheel bearings. 280k with original injectors. 20 mpg highway and 15 in town. While it doesn't have the torque of my Cummins, it'll keep a load moving just as well with the big V8.

Plus the Super Dutys have PMRs which compromise the reliability of the 7.3L. They also weigh more, don't have regulated return, and have split shots, so the MPG suffers.

To be brutally honest, if I found a regular cab 4x4 F350 for a good deal I'd sell my Dodge, blow my savings, buy it, leave it bone stock, and drive the wheels off of it.

I thought my Ford longings had subsided :(

Yeah and he's half wrong too..... ;) there's plenty of plastic on the outside of those trucks,it's just hidden well. The headlights, grill, backing for those two items,on some the mirrors are, body molding, some have fender flares....... There's plastics, just not as much

Honestly I love the captains chairs of those years....they'll hug your butt just right like a long lost lover

Levi, I'll totally take back any jokes I made about your sexual tendencies! These 3 right here are the closet homos coming out into the open in a big way. Anybody as in love with a ford tailpipe as you guys are has some serious mental deficiencies!
