The O-rings on the supply tubes only seal oil in the head. The fuel seal is the tip of the tube to the injector. If the tubes have been in and out a bunch of times they should be replaced. I read someplace that it's recommended to replace them every time they are removed. That's not expensive, right?

Update....it was a fuel drain back problem...stuck the check valve in after the lp and all has been fine. It must have been draining the ip.

So it must have an air leak, that's the only way it can drain back. I think the check valve is a temporary fix, but who knows how long it will last. I hate problems that make the truck not dependable, glad you got it going. 8)

You put it in between the lp and ip? It so that might be a bad idea. If it slows flow, that's a guarantied death sentence for that injection pump.
Otherwise congrats on finding the problem.

If there is an air leak before the check valve and the injectors it would still have a hard start??? if it has an air leak between the check valve and the tank it would have air bubbles in it? I'm not to worried about flow (not until you mentioned it again) its 3\8 in and out. It didn't take anything to blow through it. But I'd rather fix it than band aid it. The oem module had a check valve built into it, and the aftermarket had one in it also (that was also a flow restrictor that I had to drill out. So I figured it needed one. The injectors haven't been out of it and the oil isn't thin or over full. I've had air pressure on the tank and didn't see anything, Maybe I'll pressurize the tank again and double check it again. this is the check valve.

Well...the trucks out of my hair....wish he would have wanted to spend more money on it...so hopefully it works out... so on the crosstubes leaking....How do you determine that is for sure the cause....Check everything thing else for leaks and if you find none throw a set in??? and is the leaking where the tip meets the injector? Isn't that just a machined tapered fit? oring on the back side for oil and a flare fitting on the line so is it leaking at the line or at the injector? Just wondering for future reference.
