oh i can see just by the title of these threads that MY TYPE of 'sense of humor' will fit right in on this website. :lol:

my uncle lowers his head in shame any time he starts his 05 when mine is already running (strait pipe)

I think the point is that the general public does not want to listen to the clatter. That, and they keep the exhaust system intact/OEM :roll:

I had my back to one that pulled behind me at the fuel island. I didn't turn around to see that it was a 3rd Gen for a couple of minutes. I thought someone was running a sewing machine until I saw it.

My son's 05 is certainly loud enough....custom exhaust....he could compete with the best if them.
91 D250 w/modified Cummins, 89 D250 donor (future boat engine)
