chip foose 4020

Postby mydeeredodge » Sat Feb 20, 2010 2:48 pm

Has anybody seen the chip foose customized JD 4020? You can see at deere.com
I think it looks like sh!t, wtf was Deere & Co. thinking when they let some hot rodder ruin a usable 4020. I make a living farming with 10 & 20 series JD tractors, this promotion makes me look like a fool.

i kinda like it. it's like my old mopars. my brother and i race a charger and a belvedere. both factory big blocks. i've had guys curse me for modifing a classic. i just tell them its mine and i'll do what i please with it. to each his own. from the tractor shows i frequent, there is no shortage of restored john deeres out there.

sorry, maybe i was a little harsh, but thats just my opinion. i agree with you (to each his own). i have no problem with people restoring jd tractors, but foose made the tractor completely unuseable.
