If it is not a big hauler, you shouldn't need it. 1k lbs for the Harley and 2-3k lbs for the trailer? Or you can put it in for peace of mind, watch the temps, watch for problems. The boost is good for troubleshooting. You can tell if the IC leaks, not enough fuel, etc. It helps develope a baseline, if it changes, you know you have a problem, just like the EGT or fuel pressure gauges.
