2030 john deere injection pump manual

Postby ellis93 » Mon Nov 15, 2010 4:10 am

Figured I post this up. See if some of u john deere people can help out a kubota person. I'm thinkin something is wrong with my injection pump and I'm lookin for the manual for the tear down of this pump on it.
My problem is the tractor will crank and run. It does fine pullin. U can work it for 30 to an hour then when returned to an idle and left idling for a few minutes it dies like out of fuel. Upon restart you'll almost run down the battery trin to crank it up. I think somethings stickin or hanging. Any help please. Thanks for any.

Check the fuel pressure and clean the prefilter screen if it has one. Also, check all the fuel hoses for leaks or cracks. Or, if they are hard and dried out causing air to get into the system at the connections.

I went through all that after posting. To double check my thoughts on the pump. The supply pump checked ok and new filters and lines were installed. That didn't work so I took the injector pump and nozzles off and had them worked over. That fixed her up :) but drained my wallet :(
Thanks for the reply. ;-)
