Looking to buy a new tig machine. Looking at either a miller maxstar 200 or a synchrowave 200. Anyone have any experience with either of these 2 machines? Have another machine to recommend?

was torn between a dynasty 200 dx or a sync 250. (about same price)
got the dynasty..... love it- very adjustable .... portable...... variable freq. ac......
Dynasty has a lot to love too. Don't know if the sync is inverter yet- miller says they all will be at some point !

We use the maxstar 200 at work all day everyday. In the shop you can run about 120 amps on 110 circuit and 200 on 240 with no problems. good machines for what they are but if you want to do any aluminum then get the syncrowave or spend the coin on the dynasty. I have also heard good things about thermal arc machines.

I not long ago got a killer deal on a lightly used Maxstar 150 STL. Like it a lot. :)
