All tool brands don't warranty burr/ drill bits or easy outs, taps and die's.

Snapon warranties their taps and dies....no on the rest.

They warranty them but holy hell at the price.

Are most all the cornwell pneumatics ingersol (or whoever theyre using currently) like matco? When I'm out of school if I have to buy some things off the truck I'd like to go with cornwell for hardline & air.

My 3/8" is a matco mt2220, I think it is based off the IR 2115. With a straight socket it will run with a weak 1/2" and a swivel socket

My $0.02.......by Ingersoll tools label Ingersoll from somewhere else than a tool truck. The tool trucks almost never have as good of a warranty on their air tools as Ingersoll does by itself. Plus you'll pay less.....granted there no over time buying/paying like on a tool truck when purchasing.....unless bought on a credit card.
I've spent money hand over fist on a tool truck and I'll tell you this,I will not buy pneumatic impacts nor ratchets off one. I'm not paying those jacked up prices on those.......air grinders/burr motor, debatable depending on what's on sale/promo.

Can you warranty them?
I use to like proto stuff....now....it's all Stanley/proto/mac tools. One big happy family making subpar tool. I bought a set of chrome 3/8 drive swivel sockets last year.......every other time I use one bigger than 13mm I have to warranty it lol. What a bunch of sh!t. Should have bought harbor freight sockets lol, wasn't paying the price for Snapon's stuff. Iirc the Mac sockets were 180ish (10-19) and Snapon wanted 400$.

My swivel sockets are Matco and I haven't had any issues out of them. Most all of my tools are Matco and I don't have a complaint. If the ratchet breaks (been a long time since I've broke one) you can mail it in and they will send a new for replacement. Same with all the tools, if you send them in instead of warranty through a truck they send new ones out.

Also I was told by the guy on the matco truck if the chrome flakes on the sockets its a warranty issue and they will replace them. I haven't mailed any but I had the guy replace a couple of them. I should try to get a couple warrantied.
