Are most all brands of 60# valve springs the same?

Some call it 90# but yes, pretty much.

Thanks. I'll give them a shot. The main reason I need the springs is for when I install the HE351vgt turbo later on.

The 60# spring was a good choice until I started going past 55 psi. I had soot in my intake log after that.

BUT for what you are talking about doing it is a great spring. I was surprised on how it changed my idle sound.

Changed out the valve springs, installed new valve stem seals, and adjusted the valves. Finished the Ford Bus exhaust manifold swap (Had to get the turbo reclocked by Turbo Power in Beaumont,TX since I couldn't budge it.) I can't put my finger on it, but the engine sounds different at idle. Sounds good to me. Maybe it's the thorough cleanup and fresh Cummins red paint job? Kinda purty now!!!!

Any reason for bigger valve springs other than rpm?

Boost?
