Iirc steed speed advertises the biggest flowing manifold, which I've directly compared to stock with no noticeable change in driving characteristics (I know when I compared them side by side the difference in port size was pretty huge) I don't have any numbers though unfortunately

I can't be sure because I went from post turbo egts withe the stocker to pre turbo with the steed speed

What, no details? I bet those are going to sound pretty awesome. You building the piping and such yourself?

Two 68/62 B/W 300SXE chargers with 12cm non-gated exhaust housings for the primaries. One 68/62 B/W 300SXE charger with a 14cm waste-gated exhaust housing for the secondary.
I will be fabricating my plumbing. Currently bouncing back and forth between SS and CRS for the hot-pipe stuff. Most likely ceramic-coat all the hot-pipe stuff regardless of what it's made of. I'll be using V-band connections for everything (cold & hot).

Right now, ciphering the actual hot-pipe assembly as far as its design in how/where the two primaries connect (I'm funny that way).

Very nice. That's roughly 1400whp of air, so you should be able to backhalf like a mofo with those babies at full song.

We know the full capacity of compounds is that of the primary(s). If my information is correct, the former HT3B is good for 80lbs/min. These should be good for 140lbs/min (combined).

I'm hoping the internal waste-gate of the secondary is gonna be enough for WFO.

Spec I saw for them was 76lb/min, so 152 combined which I think is actually more than some of the old s488's, and is only about 10lb/min shy of the new 488sxe.

Dauntless89 on cf took and measured the wastegate ports on one of the .7 gated housings at just a little over .7" total area, and the lever hit part of the housing, so it didn't open all the way either. He managed to drill out the gate ports to a little over 1" total area (just slightly more than what he could manage with the single port on an he351.

I know I have nowhere near the fuel you do, but my 1" ported hybrid seems to bypass pretty efficiently. I ended up with a 1.32pr out of the secondary when I had the gate held open.

As far as piping I know a few setups that cap a piece of tubing, then run pipes out to the primary flanges. A third genner did one where it mounted a primary in the traditional under location, and one like the side by side setups run them. It was a lot more complex, but it was quite interesting.

Personally I think I'd get a Y pipe, and build around it, and the primaries, so it had as smooth of flow as possible.

Screw it, I'm going SS. The stick in the mud was that secondary exhaust outlet is a sharp turn for where I'm going. For 3" OD pipe, a 4.5" ~ 6" CL radius is way too big. I found some 304 SS 3" Donuts in a price range I can work with on Ebay. With a 3" CL radius, I can cut out any degree turn I like and have it be very sharp if need be. Cut'n weld up a pretzel pretty quick with them.

Found some undivided T3 threaded flanges (1/2" thick 304) for the primarys. Still gotta cypher a 45* and/or a 90* ell to make the main hot-pipe. I figure a 3" V-band joint in the straight section will come in handy later when mock-up gets underway.

Found a neat little table for my portable bandsaw. It ought to come in handy cutting straight in the SS. http://www.swagoffroad.com/SWAG-Portaba ... _c_35.html

- Still gotta cypher the initial parts to make the cold-pipe. I'll end-up using CRS for that. V-band clamps to connect two, what 2.5" into a 4". 90* ELL along the way, to turn into the secondary.
- Still gotta cypher the initial parts for the exhaust down-pipe. I'm thinking i should be able to use CRS and have it so the two primarys WYE into each other under the secondary. I'm hoping I can have it so it ties right into the current existing 4" downpipe at the HT3Bs outlet.
- For supporting the primarys, I've got a notion I can tie the two together using a plate between the two compressor housings, using their bolts to fasten things together. From there, run a brace to the engine.
- Oil supply and drains ought not be too big a deal.
- I've not given a whole lot of thought about how I'm gonna feed air to the mess. More fat pipe from the two primarys, down and into the stock-Pot?

I've located a spacer-plate for the waste-gate cover-plate. That will allow the gate to open a little more.
