Is a blue pump enough?

Postby GO OVRIT » Sun Mar 16, 2008 6:08 pm

I've almost got the money for some 435s. I planned on going with a 2nd gen pump and regulating it, but extra income is scarce right now. I've got a few Holley blue pumps. Is it enough to support the new sticks for awhile, or should I hold off until I can do a piston pump? Aslo with the blue pump, I shouldn't need any regulator should I?

the holley blues like to self destruct very quickly. When I ahd my 435's the blue would only give me 5psi at wot.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

Well....I guess I'll just save em for the gas engines. :(
