sx performance pumps

Postby GO OVRIT » Thu Apr 10, 2008 6:46 pm

http://www.sx-performance.com/Fuel_Pumps.htm I'm looking at the 18203. It says not for use with a low sulfer diesel. How about with additives or 2 stroke oil? It also says for race or marine use, so I guess it wouldn't like being regulated down to 15-18psi most of the time? I found a deal on one. If it won't hold up though, its not really a deal. Any cheaper alternatives to the 11104 or the a1000 aeromotive?

18206

I used the Edelbrock equivalent of their 18206. 160gph is alot of fuel. No regulator required. I believe it can be adusted up or down another few psi. Been on there over a year now, no issues, although I don't use it much. It's just "there" for backup or whatever. Doubt if I'll ever need that kinda fuel unless I decide to turn this thing into a dedicated playtoy someday. It's my daily driver right now, so no "big fuel" projects are on the horizon.

this is a knockoff of the aeromotive pump. It is the lower level of three - the most powerful being $249 or so

probably comes from the same plant given most stuff is made overseas today
