Whats it worth ???

What is the current fair market pricing on a complete p-pump setup ??

To properly do the swap it would include
pump---timing case and cover---inj pump gear---inj. lines---and a srt of stock 2nd gen sticks.

What else is needed ?

I am no expert, but I think it depends on the pump

A 180 or 215 pump with the rest of the stuff seems to bring right around $1000 +- 200. I saw a 215 full conversion go on ebay last year for $1300.

The enonomy is worse now so I figure it will be less.

A 160 or 175 hp pump and swap, I got one on ebay a while back for $600.00 complete.

Haisley or Piers or Scheids or somebody else sells full conversion kits.

Maybe they all do... I remember seeing them before.

The main reason I ask is that I have someone thats bugging me to sell him the setup.

I am slowly building a new motor for my chevy ( 1995 engine) and said in conversation that I would probably keep it a ve due to its general good manners and I really dont need more power in the towrig.

He wants to give me his ve parts and some cash for the p-pump and parts.

I dont want to give this thing away but dont want to screw him over either.
Every once and a while he has something I need from him and would like to keep our dealings fair.

I had an old boss in the car business that would always say " You can sheer a sheep over and over but only skin him once" lol

well the pump min is worth 250 ,lines 100, injecotrs 100ish, case 100 or more so if you got 600 -800 for the ppump stuff i would say its a fare deal, i would by the ve pump and lines and maby the injecters off of you
