So, what's likely to happen when you're running full bore and seeing 1200-1400 degrees of EGT when one of your 1/2" water lines pops loose and quenches the air side of your engine compartment with a gallon?
1990 D-250 Regular Cab: Tweaked injection pump, built transmission, a cataclysmic charlie foxtrot of electronics, the most intense street-ran water injection system in the country, and some more unique stuff.

I bet it was enough steam to make the truck dissapear. :shock: Did anythink crack?

It hasn't actually happened yet, I'd imagine that it'd stand a pretty good chance of cracking the manifold at least.

I have my solenoids mounted on the heater lines, so this was something I thought of after I blew a piece of hose out of a ferrule during compression testing...
