Won't get you to valve float territory unless you are in the habit of flooring the engine in neutral.
I'm sure that running at 3200 RPM versus 2400 RPM is bound to take longevity out of things, but just because you can run at 3200 RPM doesn't mean that you have to. They might only last 700,000 miles at 3200 RPM as opposed to 1,600,000 miles at 2400 RPM...
