Dumb turbo question

i was emailing Stans headers and the said they didn't have a downpipe to fit the S300 turbo... isn't the S300 classed as A B1 which they said they had the pieces for and i would have to weld them ?
should i just get the hx 40 downpipe ?
This is me asking the dumb question just to clarify.I am not saying anyone else is Dumb :oops:

If your s300 has a junkyard or stock s300 outlet flange then you'd need the oddball marmon, B1, s300 downpipe flange. If you have a vendor built s300 say from htt, II etc, it will most likely will be machined for a hx40 downpipe. But I would guess a s300 is longer than a hx40/16 so a vendor built hx40 downpipe might not fit perfect, ie need cut/welded/modified.

I better find this out quickly. starting to Gather the parts together. i have a choice of a hx40 or the S300 starting to think the HX /40 may cause less issuses , but i want a smaller housing than 16cm thanks again

I have a s300 and stans exaust. Mine has a hx40 flange. They sent the downpipe with the flange not welded on. I set up and cut pipe to fit, tack welded in place, removed and juiced it. I have heard that the s300 does have 2 types of flanges.

I talked directly to stans headers. Call them and ask for Bruce. He is the guy that makes them and he is the one that sent me exactly what I needed. He knew over the phone exactly what to send me.. Very happy with the service and the product. :D
