when i was in memphis my buddy got one for my 2nd gen

(he owns a ex shop and got it for 250) (said he would put it on for free so i said sure)

the material is great, but thats about where it ends. the muff is only 3.5 id and the dp is not 4" like it was 'supposed' to be. the dp is also for a hx 35 with the cast 45° deal on the outlet so i dont know how you would make that work. the system has many hangers on it that wont work on your first gen too, had more than were on my stock 2nd gen. i was thinking the same thing tho...and figured it would work on a first gen if you redid the dp

its real quiet but mine has that 'drone' or what ever they call it at around 2100

good luck

I bought a 5 inch system from bully dog for a 04+ ford superduty. it fit really well and for the down pipe I used two 4 inch 90s from a semi shop and about 28 inches of scrap 4 inch I had laying around. worked awsome and decent price.
