I have a house payment a truck payment and a kid and wife at 18 so i need sum cheap performance mods... i have a 3200 gs and the pump turned up, a bhaf and a 4inch exhaust.... give me an idea of more cheap performance mods

If you want cheap injectors, POD's are about $440 and claim a 52hp increase on intercooled trucks.

yah, i dont know what cheap means but injectors would do you good... and advancing your timing, plus thats free:) everyone likes that...

i would say injectors next for sure, but you might start wanting a lift pump after that... so bumping your timing a few degrees would really be the most bang for your buck lol

I already advanced the timing on it, its smackin the head. i was thinking sum port work would be nice, what kind of fuel pump? is the piston lift pump every one talking about the p-pump lift pump??? i want sum pods but man im on a tight budget, make that a real tight budget.

The P-pump lift pump requires a regulator. The pressure is to high for a stock VE pump. It will push the front seal out of the pump.

If you want to see a pic of a seal pushed out I can post one.

The low pressure piston pump is used on a ag engine.

I ran two NAPA HD lift pumps, electric 65gph @ 10psi. Used a second pickup out of the tank.

EDIT: The pumps were $60 each. And reliability was real good, I ran one on my 03 for 65,000miles and it was still going strong when I traded it off.

As for injectors I had my stockers EDM'd from JL Machine. It was just under 400 with shipping.

You could also remove the AFC lever for free to gain some more fuel.

Some of the Magnums use the VE pump, do they use the piston lift pump? or do the newer tractors with a different injector pump use the lift pump that we are looking for?

The piston lift pump is a low pressure pump from industrial applications that also used the VE, IIRC. Externally, it is identical to the P-pump lift pump, with some different springs inside.

Having your timing that advanced may be hurting you in the long run (esp bottom end grunt and MPGs), esp if you arent running some super hot 6x18+ injectors.

NO, the ag pump is not the same as a 2nd gen pump. p pump lp is much higher volume comes with better fittings and most importantly is higher pressure. the trick set up is p pump lp with ag spring
