Would a little DOT 3 brake fluid hurt?

Wouldn't a better question be " would it help?" The main reason I see for running fuel adds with our old pumps and injectors in these days of ULSD is lubricity. Oil lubricates. Brake fluid is mostly glycols and ethers with a relatively low flash point. Probably do more harm than good.

Begel was struck correctly. Now can someone please hit him harder the right way again?! ;)

Brake fluid will swell up any piece of rubber within 5 or 6 ft of it.
Well, any piece it touches anyways. ;)

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

All I know, is I can taste it from 20 feet away.....get it in your mouth once, and it's all over.

I run my truck on WMO. damn near a 100% mix in the summer. And in the winter right now its about 50/50. Im trying to get the ratio higher so its cheaper to drive. the oil is pretty clean.I centrifuge it. so it ends up removing all metal particles, all of the water and most of the carbon that was in it. More or less all of the mods I have on the truck is so I can run the higher mixtures.I get about 26 MPG on WMO-assuming my turbo isnt blown... 12.5 with it blown:evil:

There is a guy here in town with a 1gen running waste motor oil and waste vegtable oil, it hasn't seen diesel fuel in a year or two. I think that if I should happen to get behind him again I will most likely terminate him. The damn thing fogs the road like its a smoke screen from a tank, and its soo bad it leaves a film on your windows if you get behind him. I have no idea how much he pays the cops to stay out of jail but it must be alot.

get him to stop running the waste veggie oil.it emulsifies bad with the WMO.That might be whats causing it to smoke alot. with my truck in the summer when it was warm and my turbo wasnt blown the truck was actually very hard to get to smoke unless I really tried hard. Once the truck was warmed up the smoke went from "oil burning" smoke to rolling coal. But only when trying to get it to smoke.
