Clutch

I'm getting an nv4500 put together for my truck and am trying to decide on a clutch for it. How much torque will a stocker hold without slipping? I 'm thinking about a south bend 350hp/700tq which sells for about $370 Is it any good? Thanks
92 chevy 4x4 91 non intercooled engine nv4500 valair clutch, full fuel screw turned 2 turns, slightly ground fuel cone, 366 spring, stock baby h1c , stock lift pump, timing to head and autometer ultralite boost and pyro. 17 second race truck!!

Sounds like a good deal but is it right for you, that is the question. Here are some variables to consider when buying a clutch:
Will it hold the power you WANT to get out of the truck, it is best to buy a clutch that your truck can "grow" into.
Where will you be driving most of the time? ( heavy, light , or medium pedal)
How smooth do you want the engagement? (smooth bite, medium bite, or death grip bite)
If you find a clutch that fits these criteria, get it. A clutch swap can be difficult so "try" your best to get the right one the first time. Do no compromise performance for price when it comes to your drive train. Good luck!
