Postby Bigfury » Sat Mar 28, 2009 5:54 am

Time to turn things up.As I can afford the up grades.Hopefully be able to keep all the rest of the adjustments up with the add ons.Was thinking about a hybrid Hx35/40.Then happen to find this company www.g-s-racing.com Looks very interesting to me,but what do I know? So I'm looking for the pros and cons from ya.Thank you all in advance for your knowledge and a great site for my old truck.

I would go with somthing/someone proven. How much are you looking to spend? I would rather have a 60k mile s300 than a brand new HX40.

With the exchange rate it would be less then $700 plus shipping.

For a grand you can get an awesome charger that will outperform any of that holset stuff. Just be patient and keep searching the classifieds on all the diesel sites and find any 62mm s300 and only spend the money once. Just my 2 cents.

Postby Bigfury » Mon Mar 30, 2009 4:07 am

May have found a S300 used from another forum. But it is a 60/71-16 build.Still learning,it seems that I am barking up the right tree, possible.

60/71-16 almost sounds like Holset HX35/40 measurements
His- 93 W250 club cab LE, auto to Getrag conversion, piston lift pump, 3.54 LSD. 400k+
Hers- 04 QC 4x4. Built auto, Triple Dog, Air Dog. Funny Round truck that aint so quiet.
