What will happen if......

Postby dodgetkboy78 » Wed May 27, 2009 11:00 pm

I install 435's before twins. :?

I crapped an injector, and don't want to buy injectors twice, you know, save some dough.

I have a I/C truck, 5 speed, HX35, south bend clutch, cooler tubz.....

Can I just back the screw off, or my foot off until I get another turbo and the twin set up?

:?

You got it, back your pump off or try and control your right foot!

With my DDP's I could back em off to where they would barley smoke, even at WOT. With the 6x16's (bigger than 435's) it still smokes like a train even with the screw out two turns. However, EGTs aren't that bad (with the pump backed off) and as long as I stay under 1/2 throttle it barley smokes.

IN other words, you'll be fine.

It all depends on the fuel screw and what fuel pin you have. 435's will get hot in 3rd gear if you have stuff maxed out and no air to go along with it.

When I tow with my 6x16s I need 1 eye on the road and 1 on the egt gauge. I have way more power then I can use.
