Is the biggest restriction on our stock exhaust the stock muffler? I was thinking of cutting mine off this week and doing a BHAF setup if it'll help my truck power wise. I want a 4" system I just don't have the cash for it just yet. I'm hoping to upgrade the turbo to a S300 or HX-35 if that's all I can afford. I'd like to do the 4" exhaust at that time.

The biggest restriction is the turbo. It would be best to install an updated turbo with a waste gate.

An HX35, full 4" exhaust (with 3" downpipe) and a BHAf would do wonders for your Non I/C truck.
