3.07 LSD options?

Postby Begle1 » Mon Sep 21, 2009 8:44 pm

What are the aftermarket options for a LSD for my 3.07 rear end?

The 3:07 axles use the same carriers as a 3:54 does. Any carrier from 3:54 to 4:56 will work in your axle.

How many splines are our axles?

Will Detroits out of any D70 work for us?

The 3:07's are 35 spline most likely. Look at the axle hub. If it has wedge locks holding the alxe in. It is most likely a 35 spline. If it has bolts its a 32 spline.

I haven't seen a 3:07 axle with the bolts. All I have seen is the old style wedge locks.
