I bought the M3 not to long ago. I like it a lot, defintely noticed a difference. It will still smoke out a freeway if you want it too but is pretty conservative if you drive easy.

Well I got it today. :D Was beat after work but put it in anyway. I got the M2. I picked that one because it was going in my 93 which has the 6x16's. With those big sticks I get plenty of fuel down low even with the afc set way milder then stock. My thoughts were to get a pin that would work well with a valet switch. With the stock fuel cone turned to deapest, fuel screw 2 full turns OUT from maxed, smoke screw all the way out, and star wheel several turns UP ( to help with low boost smoke ) I saw around 43 pounds of boost. I changed the pin and touched nothing else. I took it for a spin and saw 49 to 50 psi. So as far as I can tell I gained 6 to 7 psi just by changing the pin. So my plans are to turn down the fuel screw to get max boost back down to a safer ( lower ) 42 psi. Then install a valet switch. That should give me a good tow haul mode and then have a fun switch to play with. :D

Well today I got to play with the fuel screw. As I said above I was happy with the boost I had with the stock pin, 42 to 44 psi , but was unhappy with the bottom end. I took 1 full turn out of the fuel screw and went for a ride. At wide open in 5th the boost was back down to 44 psi, perfect :D I also hoped that when I took the full turn out it would help my haze issue. ( pretty hazzy all times at speed and idle ). It took about 75 percent of the haze and low boost smoke. It does take a little longer to spool the turbo until the afc ( pin ) drops into the deep side then its game on. As soon as I get my valet set up ( still need to buy ) I will be able to tow with the ole girl with out watching the egt's so close. So in conclusion, the M2 pin did what I wanted.

1 Keep my boost at 44 psi while at the same time take 1 turn off the fuel screw.
2 Took away lots of low boost smoke and haze. ( because I was able to take out the turn )
3 Will work great with a valet.

So in my case I used it as a tunning feature to help make my 6x16's more streetable. :D

Rich, unhook the boost line to the AFC to see if the valet will help you. Removing the line will have the same result, so you will know how it is towing. ;)

I have done that before :D I still have more adjustments to make. I may put the fuel screw back in a little or get a little more aggressive on the afc settings. One good thing of the fuel screw in is it spools the turbo instantly, but the smoke is an issue. I am sure that I will get a handle on the tune. I do like the possibilities this pin gives.
