Injector sizing?

Postby Ptothej » Wed Dec 29, 2010 9:38 am

Sorry guys, I havent figured out what is meant when you say like "6x16 sticks".... obviously injectors correct? And obviously the the numbers are size.. but can someone explain to me what the "6" stands for and what the "16" would stand for so I can get a better grasp on what you guys are speaking of!

Thanks!

6 = the hole count. 16 = .016 size. So its just a quick way to say 6x.016.

Tip diameter is the outside diameter of the actual injector tip (sometimes called a nozzle), 9mm for non I/C and 7mm for I/C. a 6x016 would have 6 holes, each hole being 16 thousandths of an inch in diameter.
