I run super 40 what is a safe setting to run waste gate at?
1991.5 ..getrag super40. 40,horse injectors,4"to 6" exhaust , bhaf 2nd gen intake,custom pin timed to the head ..1/4 14.9@93mph 5,500' with a little propane

There is no " safe " area. Some trucks will pop at 30 psi with stock timing, some will hold 45 to 50 psi with advanced timing.

Let me rephrase that question at what point does the turbo start being in danger of over speeding

30 to 35 should keep yer turbo and head gasket out of danger
92 d350, arp's, orings, 150lb springs, 4200 gsk ,ground pin ,64/71/14 ,ddp inj's, ats manifold, tim's tubez, ats trans, FASS, locker, timing + a tooth, bcdd intake
