I wish I had pics to illustrate what im describing, but im noticin on built ve trucks like the few featured in DP mag have customs lines runnin from the afc port an other locations too the driver wheel well. Can someone explain to me why they do this? An what is the benefits.
1992 dodge w250 5spd le club cab
fuel screw, full travel throttle. 5in dp, hx40
1993 ext cab w250, built auto, PODS hx40 pump work, 3200, fuel pin, full travel throttle, electric lift pump

The AFC port one would probably be to a valet switch. Turn switch on for no boost to hit the fuel pin so no full power. Turn it off and hang on to your pants!

The other BIG line to the fuel inlet is a big fuel line. If it is coming from the fender, then it is probably coming from a fuel pressure regulator that has taken a big fuel pump and moved the pressure down to a more friendly 15 or so PSI.

Or it could be a boost reduction setup to try and maintain more afc control. I think BC847 runs a setup like that..
