4" Exhaust band clamps, where to buy?

Postby vwkaferman » Mon Oct 24, 2011 11:52 am

So I've got my Diamond eye sitting there waiting for me to put it in. Gotta get a pipe welded that I cut too short because I'm a dummy. Browsing around, lots of diesel folks recommend using Band clamps as opposed to the U-Bolts that come with the kit. Where do you get yours? Local? Interwebs?

I'm looking at these: http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performance-Products/555/30735/10002/-1

For sure, spend the money for the band clamps. It makes it so easy to take apart, or adjust as needed. I swap from stacks with straight pipe to stacks with muffler to full tailpipe with muff ect depending on what I need the truck for. Its a snap to loosen them and slip everything apart.

This! Found some at Carquest which is just around the corner that is umm, haha, welding my pipe together that I cut too short. DOH! :)

Oh, on sale too, normally $13 something, on sale now for $8.99 a pop. Self forming kind, not the Jegs preformed type.

Thanks y'all.
