Slide pin modification???

Postby revemup15 » Tue Apr 03, 2012 6:12 am

I was told that you can grind the lever that pushes the slide pin to get more travel on the fuel pin??? How do you do this and has anyone done it?

best way IMO is to pull your afc fuel pin, coat it with some molly black grease, reinstall, go for a WOT run, and then take the pin back out to see if it is actually not hitting the deepest part of your fuel pin.

I think he's talking about grinding the AFC "foot". I just don't know anything about it so I've never piped up.

I've thought about it and it think a longer guide pin (rides on the fuel pin) would get the same thing done. I had it figured out at one time, but I forgot exactly what I figured out
