Industrial Injection Turbo rebuild?

Postby Mark Nixon » Sun Apr 15, 2012 2:21 pm

Okay, so I traded a guy a perfectly good HE351CW turbo for his junk one and cash, not really even knowing what the turbo was.
With a little investigating of the tag I found it to be a 3rd Gen Super 62 with a twin scroll .80 A/R housing.

If these are rebuildable, will Industrial Injection sell the repair items, or are they the same as any of the other S-300 series pieces?
Does anyone else sell parts to rebuild them?

I have yet to dis-assemble it, but it definitely needs a CHRA rebuild kit, the compressor wheel is chowed, and it may possibly need a turbine shaft/wheel.

Any help is appreciated. :D

Well, the CHRA is junk, the compressor wheel is junk and I can't find a CHRA to put it back together, so it's headed to the scrap pile.
