adjusted throttle linkage today

Postby gobigorgohome » Mon Jun 27, 2011 4:13 pm

started out bad lol. went to pop off the linkage arm an when i was tryin to tighten it up i went a lil too far an broke the pop on piece lol. so i got out a lighter an melted the two pieces together. got the nub to the inside hole and got it all back togethere an fired it up an messes with the ksb a lil then too it for a drive an HOLY CRAP!!!!!!! i didnt think it would make so much of a difference! i went from a previous 26 psi to 30 egts climb a small bit faster an it feels like i gained a few HP (15-20) i was shocked it made such a difference. i pulled round a corner an mashed it and i hear this tick tick sound an i though "oh crap somethin with the engine" an i looked in the mirror an the stack i had layin in the bed of the trk decided to fall out lol so i picked it up an left in a cloud! :D wish i did this mod sooner lol

Biltit you have a p/n, I went there to get the metal ones, and they said that only had one kit for that truck, but they didnt work, not even close to the right sizes
