VE timing advance

can anyone tell me how much timing advance the ve has internally from idle to WOT?


A friend and I got a hold of a spare ve that we finally got around to taking it apart yesterday afternoon. Turned out to be very informative on how they really work. Now i'm all excited about pulling mine apart to make use of some Ideas we came up with to make more power.

It is like 7deg total from off/start to full speed. From idle to full speed is 4-5deg as the pump starts somewhat retarded to make them start better.
