Ok so a little over a week ago I decide to do the kdp fix on my first gen w72000 mi on it, pulled the cover and found cam gear had walked a bit and touched the cover a couple times

. So I do a little research and see this happens sometimes (truck is stock except for 4"exh, denny t pin and 3k gsk) and that the only way to fix it properly is to remove the cam and redo gear install process

. SOOO I figured why not change head gasket and maybe O ring and studs(for future use).
So to make a long story a bit shorter within 8 hours it went from a kdp fix to a bare frame with the bed,cab and nose sitting in my yard and the chassis going to the sandblaster
So does anyone know how this happens??????????????????????
Oh and my credit card allmost cought on fire from all the times I flexed it this past week on misc must haves, the only good thing is I expect it to be a bit more fun to drive when done
