First let me say that I know next to nothing about the VE pump. Just enough to be dangerous.
Why couldn't I run a 5/8" regulated return fuel system with an A1000 (or similar) pump on my Dodge?
I see that the fuel line going into the pump is tiny, but i don't see why it couldn't be drilled out and tapped to take a larger fitting. Where could I tap into the pump for my return? Would this even work, or does the pump have some sort of internal pressure metering device that would have a sthi fit if I gave it way too much fuel?
Seems to me if you ran a system like that you could move plenty of fuel through the pump to keep in lubricated and cool, and you would never be able to suck it dry.
thoughts?
