the injector for me??

Postby T.winegar » Mon Mar 23, 2009 9:19 pm

so i know there are a million injector threads, and they all are important for that person . but, i have a little different case than some of the ones that i have read.

ok, so i will driving back and forth to utah from idaho, and need the best mileage i can get out of this noni/c, automatic, 4wd truck. i have the pump tuned very well, good airflow and an exhaust. i have a converter on the way.

i have been looking at injectors for the noni/c cummins, and don't know really what one to get.

i definetly want more power than my stockers(might be a challenge!!!) if i'm going to buy injectors. i don't want my mileage to suffer too much though, as i will be driving 65-70mph on the highway. i just want a powerful injector, not a sled puller. maybe 350hp, give or take a bit.

which injector is for me?? :?

i have also heard of pulling my injectors and having them honed and edm'd, but the cost is within $100 of getting brand new injectors according to my research.

but i don't about that too much

Stock non/ic injectors can make 350 hp mine did,but you will def need work on the auto and that 350 hp mark fuel economy wont be real good but shouldnt be too bad.The right foot will make a big diff, and if you don't already have it done an intercooler and a turbo up grade will help.
