PowerStroke IC Core Size?

Postby BC847 » Thu Jul 30, 2009 3:33 pm

Anybody know the dimensions of the core of the PS IC (height x width x thickness) not including the end-tanks?

I measured real quick cause the bugs were chewing the hell out of me but here is the ROUGH dimensions. 30 inches long, 17 1/2 tall and 2 inches thick. Me and someone else did a compare of measurements like a year ago between his 2nd gen cooler and my p/s unit. They were pretty close in surface area.

Quick hijack. I haven't been bitten but maybe twice this season out here, and only had bug spray on once... I hate that spray too.

To continue the hijack,
My younger son is allergic to mosquito bites. He puffs up real bad. He got bit in the middle of the forehead, and the next morning he looked like a neanderthal. Not as bad as the feller in the pic, but close.
The funny thing was when I picked him up from the sitters, she told me she kept telling him to quit scowling, then would remember he was swelled up.

My son is same way, you don't dare send him out without a bath in bug spray. I have a hilarious photo of him with a bite on his ear, it looks like he was done up for a movie or something...

I can't remember the years right now but I know there are two production runs that fit, one has metal tank ends and one has plastic. Same basic body shape etc, but you want the metal version.
