whats the best way to keep it in place? i am pondering on getting a 14mm head and i am gonna have to up the inlet pressure aint I?
92 d350, arp's, orings, 150lb springs, 4200 gsk ,ground pin ,64/71/14 ,ddp inj's, ats manifold, tim's tubez, ats trans, FASS, locker, timing + a tooth, bcdd intake

2001 2wd rclb dually 5sp, smarty, Bluechip FMS, TS MVP, 57/75 twins, stainless diesel pipe kit, valair clutch, airdog 150, DFI SAC 7x.014's, cheap a$$ intake, ARP studs, oringed head, CPP 115# springs

I had a grove machined where the seal goes and used a snap ring to keep mine in place. This setup will hold easily to 40 psi inlet pressure, but if ya get over that fuel can start seeping between the shaft and seal

thank you. now , i hear around that the 14mm head is not so reliable. is this only when it is used with the 4mm cam plate or just the head itself? this is my only vehical at the moment, so this worries me. my FASS is set at 16 psi. do i have to raise my pressure if i put a 14mm head on? as of right now the pressure stays at 15-16 psi no matter how hard i get on it? thanks in advance for any input!

The 14mm can be reliable if the pump is setup to run it. I think what has killed some of them is not enough fuel flow and to small of an injector. I have ran my test pump countless hours with no failure to the h&r. The 4mm camplate needs does not work correctly in our pumps without some mods. It will cause a severe defuel due to uncovering the spill port

I've had my Rocken Tech 14mm in and running for about 4 months...all seems good but I NEED injectors. I'm scared to death to turn my pump up because of the small (40+) injectors.
92 1 ton, 7" lift 37 military MT's on Hummer Alcoas, HE341, 4" downpipe to tailpipe, killer front bumper, 14mm H+R, +40 injectors, 03 dodge seats, loud tunes. 'Custom' Rustoleum paint.

what else needs to be done to the pump to run the 14mm? i am getting some 6x16's whether or not i get a 14mm.

You can slap the head on a stock pump and it will work. If you want max performance there are tons of thing that need to be done inside the pump for better fuel flow

sorry for all the questions, but is there a thread with all the info i need to put a head on for max performance? i tired using the search function but had no luck with it.

Never really done much with the I.P. in general, myself, but everything I am reading says you can do a whole lot of things before you "need" the 14mm head and rotor.
IIWM, I'd do the most you can with what you have and research for the next step up.
You might decide that enough is enough.
