you need to pull the intake off the turbo to be able to choke the engine if it runs away. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SOMETHING STRONG ENOUGH TO PUT OVER THE TURBO INLET TO CHOKE THE ENGINE!!! i once used something that was not strong enough on a truck at work. luckly the turbo blowing up was the cause of the run away so i didn,t hurt anything. as far as how far you can turn the screw till it runs away, every pump is different. mine is in as far as it will go. some will run away before the screw bottoms out.
