Hey now Pete, he could actually be out in the garage working on it right now.

Nah, he's probably playing video games and drinking beer.

Man, what a bunch of noses. :P

Here's the goods and the bads.

Goods:
I did in fact purchase an '89 RC that's a little crustier on the outside than my current RC, but the wiring harness and clutch mounting stuff is all in the same place so it will make the swap over to runner status much easier for me. I may cut my teeth on some bodywork on it since we recently purchased a 110v mig with gas wire at the pit.

I'm still drinking.

Bads:
I went in 1/3 on a gym setup with my two younger cousins. They're big into weightlifting and crap so I'm currently spending ~5-8pm in a cold garage lifting stuff. I'm not a huge fan, but since I'm in $$ I figure I'd better get a couple weeks out of it anyways.

The ex happened to be at a bar I attended last Saturday night. I stopped over to catch up and new girl decided to let me know just what crazy was. Shes barred from the bar for life and I'm decently sure she's barred from me for life.

This place ain't near as bad as the locals around here.
I should probably put up some surveillance cameras around here (Need to, anyway) and show you vids!
There's one guy that alternates between a 2-tone Blue Ford and a White one, that I'll bet drives by here 5-10 times a day... that I know of.

Mark.

HA!!! That's actually pretty funny, but her hair is way shorter than mine.

Anyways, the 89's frame is getting kinda crappy so I'm still going to pull the body off the 85 and coat it's frame in POR. The intention is then to just swap the 89 body onto it and continue on as I had intended with the 85 body. I don't have any real plans for the 85 body now, but what I'd like to do is put the old dodge cab on the rusty 89 RC frame and possibly make a trail rig out of it. I think it'd be nice to have something to beat around the woods in and it ain't going to be this RC. I may look around for a shortbed to put on behind it or just cut my longbed down to fit since the shortbed will be too long as well.

The trail rig is many moons from now though.

No pics of the 89 but I'll be going to get it this weekend so I'll throw some up. It's not much to be proud of in terms of rust, but the driprails are much better off than the 85. It's like the 85 rusted around the top and the 89 rusted around the bottom, it's weird.

No girl (any girl) pics, I don't need that coming back to haunt me.

I can vouch for his ex. She wasn't a BIG girl. Just normal. Except for the fact that she was dating Levi. :P

So she got thrown out of the bar, was she fighting with the ex or you? It wasn't real clear.
