Fluid dynamics ;) yes I know the pump output and what pressure opens the check valve,then it was just a calculation

Wow case pressure effects pump volume BIG time, even worse on 14mm pump :shock: the 14mm starts loosing at 2500rpm with stock case pressure setting . Duel feed will be tryed soon .
I did learn that tapping in the case pressure plug makes a huge difference on fuel delivery , but it raises low end timing.

Yeah, boy-howdy! I'm fixing to install a stock/OEM vane-pump regulator as the timing is too far advanced down low. Frigging engine cooling fan is running steady with 60* or so outdoor temps. :shock:

In a stock configured VE, I think we're gonna have to run a stiffer advance piston spring if we're gonna run dynamic timing and higher case pressures.

Nice ride BTW. 8)

BC... why won't the adj. spacer work?

Turbo.... are you still seeing a big drop in case press. with large injectors? Is it raising case press. across the board?

While I've not installed it yet, I have installed additional shims, but they're not enough. I think we're gonna need a stiffer spring to work with the adjustable thingy.

* Let's not crap turboram's thread. ;)

i know when I moved mine up, it made a huge difference in wot fuel. I went from clearing up my smoke, to belching black jets (while boost and egts went up)..... and those were with my flow honed stock sticks.

Big injectors drop case pressure yes, but that is good for pump life . My feeling it that if the fss is getting cut off the pump must be turned down or bigger injectors installed. I think it is bypassing inside h&r because of over pressure

I agree, but what I'm asking is..... let's say at 2500 w/ an 80lpm injector case pressure is 80psi. If one increases case pressure does that increase still see an increase across the board? Meaning can you turn that 80 into 120 or is it still 80. And oone is only increasing case pressure down low.
